DREAM LIFE FOR US, IS LIVING IN A CABIN ON A LAKE.

We all have dreams of our perfect place.  Some like big fancy houses with paved driveways, gates and a perfectly manicured yard.  Not us.  Give us an old fishing cabin situated aside an average lake and we would be tickled.

Some of our fondest memories as kids, are being outdoors with our parents or grandparents.  Swimming on warm summer days, fishing, splashing in the water and paddling about.   Playing with cousins, laughing and having fun from sun up to sun down.  Do you remember catching your first fish?  Who doesn’t.  As a kid, it was a big accomplishment.  Exciting!

No matter what kind of fish it was, it was a keeper.

Do you remember your parents or grandparents keeping it for you.  Cleaning it and putting it in the freezer to eat one day.  Yeah right!  But as a kid, you didn’t know any better.

No matter how old we get, there is still the inner child that wants those times back.

We want to give these memories life again.  We want to have a place where our children and grandchildren can come make memories.  We want to throw them in the water and teach them how to swim.  Watch them do cannon balls from the dock.  We want to praise the first fish they catch, take photos of it and put it in the freezer for later.

We want to wake up and see the sun rise, the golden glow glistening on the water.

We want to be out there fishing till we get tired of casting.  We want to be able to take a boat ride and feel ourselves ripping through the wind.  Feel the boat on the water as you turn it about.  Put your hand over the side and feel the water as it splashes from the side.  Back at the cabin, jump off the dock and swim.  Hike a trail alongside the lake catching different view points of the lake until it loops back around to cabin.  We want to light a campfire and watch the sun go down on another amazing day.

So what does our dream cabin look like?  Pick one…
