Springtime weather felt incredible today.

We packed up the pup and made our way to the Suwannee River State Park.  We had hiked there recently and seen a couple unique features on the trails that were riverside.  We decided to put in our canoe at their boat ramp and paddle up river to check out those sights and a whole lot more.

We simply enjoy the outdoors. Whether it is hunting, fishing, camping, canoeing or hiking we enjoy spending time in the outdoors together. Although the majority of our experiences are in the flatwoods, we enjoy adventures anywhere we can find them.

  1. Can’t wait to get our kayak out ~ there’s still ice on the lake. We love paddling around, enjoying the quiet solitude. Sneaking up on the nesting herons or sandhill cranes is the best. Plus, it’s where we do our best thinking ~ out in the middle of the lake….
